The Third Branch Conference Supports Boyle
The RNLA signed onto a letter by The Third Branch Conference to Senator Bill Frist and others countering the allegations made against Judge Boyle that he is anti-law enforcement. This false accusation is being used by Democrats and the influential law enforcement unions to further delay his confirmation. The lengthy letter is linked above.
Yet these accusations have nothing to do with Boyle's attitude towards law enforcement (which he strongly supports), but instead is instigated by employment discrimination lawyers who assert that Boyle has a bias against law enforcement officers who bring these claims. These allegations are based on a handful of cases, which the letter throughly discusses. It shows that Boyle did not act with animus against these individuals, but rather adhered to the law and precedent in the Fourth Circuit. These cases demonstrate why Judge Boyle should be confirmed - he does not make law, but applies the law.
