Judge Leslie Southwick nominated to Fifth Circuit Court

President Bush has also nominated Leslie Southwick, of Mississippi, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Fifth Circuit. A copy of Judge Southwick's biography is available here. Judge Southwick's nomination replaces Michael Wallace's nomination for the same position. Wallace withdrew his name for consideration after determining that he would not receive a fair up or down vote by the Democrat controlled Senate.
