The estimable Mr. Will has called out Obama on his trite, predictable, obstructionism on President Bush's nominees to the federal bench, and especially his willingness to play the race card upon zero evidence of racial insensitivity. The Democratic Party is so lock, stock and barrel owned by such judicial obstructionists that no sensible statements can be expected from any of their candidates, regardless of how sunny or sensible they otherwise appear.

I also think that Senator Specter has been an Achilles on the Southwick nomination, and pushing for votes in general, and it should be noted and he should be thanked.
