Southwick Awaits Floor Vote

Judge Leslie Southwick, the nominee for the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, was voted out of the Senate Judiciary Committee and now awaits a vote in the Senate to confirm his nomination. This will hopefully occur after the Senate returns from its August recess.

In a bold step, Sen. Feinstein voted for Southwick after "meeting with him and assessing his character," reports Confirmthem.com. A link to her statement will be posted when it becomes available.
