Majority Leader's Broken Promise On Judges Inexcusable
Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) echoed Minority Leader McConnell's disappointment in the Democratic Majority's failure to treat judicial nominees fairly.
The Majority Leader's broken promise signals an effort to run out the clock
until the presidential election and let the pending judicial nominations expire.
I fear that the Majority Leader's unwillingness to confirm judges will have
negative consequences not only for our federal judiciary, but the Senate's
broader agenda.
