Joy is Senior Counsel at Americans for Prosperity, a national organization in the policy and political field. She is responsible for developing and implementing the organization's federal and state compliance plans, reviewing its lobbying and political advertisements (independent expenditures) to comply with all laws, and training staff on federal and state compliance matters. She also assisted in the creation and implementation of Americans for Prosperity Action, a separate SuperPAC. Previously, Joy was an Associate Counsel with the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee; a Law Clerk with the 2016 Republican National Convention, Committee on Arrangements; and an Attorney Advisor at the Federal Labor Relations Authority, Office of Member Patrick Pizzella.
