BIO

Manuel Iglesias has combined a professional lifetime of entrepreneurship and the practice of law. Since
graduating law school, Iglesias has worked in multinational and Florida law firms in the areas of
transactional, securities, energy and healthcare law. Mr. Iglesias also has over 40 years’ experience in
entrepreneurship and business consulting. He has served as Chairman and CEO of companies in
healthcare, biotechnology and energy as well as an Officer or Director for various investment banks and
venture funds. In the 1980s and 1990s Mr. Iglesias focused on international economic development,
working with both the private sector, as well as the USAID, US Peace Corps and the United Nations
Development Programs to help develop sustainable private sector economies in Central America, the
Caribbean and the newly freed nations of Eastern Europe, previously part of the Soviet Union. From 1998
to 2002 Mr. Iglesias served as in-house counsel to broker dealer and as President of a Small Business
Investment Company owned by the broker dealer. Since 2003 Mr. Iglesias refocused his interest in bringing
to market cutting edge services and technologies with a focus on energy, pharmaceutical and healthcare.

Iglesias has been heavily involved with the Republican Party since 1972. During this period, he has
participated in multiple initiatives and campaigns, beginning by working for the White House advanced
staff in the 1972 Presidential campaigns. He also held many positions within the Republican National
Committee, including as founder of the Hispanic American Young Republicans and as National Chairman
of the Heritage Groups Youth Division. Mr. Iglesias served on the transition teams for President Richard M.
Nixon in 1972, President Ronald W. Reagan in 1980, President George H.W. Bush in 1988 as well as
President Donald J. Trump in 2016. Most recently, from December 2018 through December 2020, Mr.
Iglesias served as the National Chairman of the Republican National Lawyers Association.

Mr. Iglesias received a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University in 1976, a Juris
Doctor from the University of Chicago in 1979, and a Masters in Business Administration also from the
University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 1981. Mr. Iglesias has studied French at the University
of Lausanne in Switzerland and German at the Goethe Institute in both Germany and Austria.
