Heather Hovanec Ford resides in Clayton, NC where she and her husband practice law together at The Ford Firm. She concentrates in election law utilizing her experience working at the NC State Board of Elections, being employed as a staff member on campaigns ranging from national to county office, volunteering on a variety of political issues and campaigns for over fifteen years and serving as a state and county political party officer. She is actively involved in her community serving on the Clayton Library Board and Clayton Historical Society Board, Wingate Board of Visitors, Johnston County Heritage Commission and Library Board, Chi Omega Fraternity and Holy Trinity Orthodox Church. Heather received her B.A. in economics and history from Wingate University in 2001 and her J.D. from the University of Mississippi in 2004.
