BIO

Elizabeth El-Rassy is Associate Counsel at the Republican National Lawyers Association. She graduated from Florida State University College of Law in 2020. While attending law school, Elizabeth worked as RNLA’s Law Clerk for Summer 2019. Furthermore, she worked as a legislative assistant for GrayRobinson’s government affairs and lobbying practice and interned for Florida Representative Chris Sprowls. Elizabeth also completed a judicial externship in Florida’s Second Judicial Circuit.

Elizabeth holds a B.S. in International Affairs and Political Science with a certificate in Emergency Management and Homeland Security from Florida State University. During college, Elizabeth interned for then-Governor Rick Scott’s reelection campaign, interned at the Executive Office of the Governor, and held various positions on the chapter and state levels with College Republicans. Most notably, Elizabeth served as the Florida statewide chairman of Students for Rubio during the 2016 presidential primary.

Elizabeth first became involved in Republican politics in high school when she founded a chapter of Teenage Republicans at her high school and served as a board member of the Florida Federation of Teenage Republicans. Elizabeth also interned for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign in 2012.

Elizabeth is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia.
