Pat Munroe Woodward, Jr. is an experienced trial lawyer with a distinguished record of public service. He concentrates his practice on government relations, white collar criminal defense and internal corporate investigations. He also appears regularly on national television providing legal commentary for FoxNews and CNN.

In his government relations practice, Mr. Woodward focuses on the Departments of Justice and Homeland Security. His prior government service includes nine years as a federal prosecutor in Washington, DC, counsel to Deputy Attorneys General Bob Mueller and Larry Thompson, and personal aide to Attorney General Dick Thornburgh. In 2001, he vetted the DOJ Criminal Division for the Bush-Cheney Justice Transition Team and in the 2004 presidential election he served on the Lawyers for Bush-Cheney Team in Tallahassee, Florida.

Mr. Woodward also represents clients facing criminal investigations / prosecutions in federal and state courts, including corporate and securities fraud, public integrity, and money laundering. Representative engagements include the Chandra Levy case - coordinated an independent missing person / murder investigation; former Enron energy traders - FERC and CFTC investigations; City of Cincinnati - negotiated landmark civil rights agreement on police reform with the Department of Justice; and defending supervisory agents with the Secret Service and Drug Enforcement Administration.
