Michelle “Elle” Ross, NGAUS Legislative Counsel and Manager of Army legislative Programs was born in New York City and raised on Long Island in New York. In 2008 she graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations. Elle continued to law school at New England School of Law in Boston, MA, participating in Air Force Reserve Officer Training at detachment 355, Elle earned a Juris Doctorate Degree in 2012 after a semester abroad in The Hague, Netherlands focusing on international intelligence and counterterrorism. Elle continued to further her education at George Washington University School of Law, earning a Master of Laws degree in National Security and U.S. Foreign Relations Law in 2013. Elle then began her career in Washington D.C. as an Associate at Harris Corporation in the Government Relations Division. In 2013 Elle worked for the CrossLead team at McChrystal Group LLC consulting firm. In 2014 After passing the bar, Elle began her career on Capitol Hill with Congressman Peter King (NY-02) while participating in a pro bono legal program at a local law firm just prior to joining the office of Congressman Pete Sessions, Chairman of the Rules Committee. Immediately prior to her position at NGAUS, Elle served Chairman Sessions as Legislative Counsel handling the legislative portfolios on Military and Defense. Elle is an Army JAG reservist.
