Served as liaison to the Office of Intergovernmental Affairs and the Miami-Dade Delegation office. Managed the staff(25+ individuals) and budget of the Office of the County Manager.

Managed sales in Northeast United States (NY, CT, MA, RI, PA). Made numerous sales calls and presentations for product suite. Worked cooperatively with 4 other field managers for various US and international regions. Reported to VP for Sales/Marketing. Closed sales in excess of $100,000 per unit.

Established research center by: (1) negotiating endowment agreement with FIU; lobbying Florida Board of Regents for designation as statewide, Type I research center; and (3) lobbying for and receiving annual funding support from Florida Legislature. Manage center by: (1) developing and implementing strategic plan; (2) establishing budget (eventually $2 million plus endowment of $2.2 million) and hiring administrative staff; and, (3) lobbying for state and federal research grants. Managed staff of 10 plus part-time student and research associates. Transitioned out of the center by: (1) managing national search for and hired Director; (2) managing national search for and hired Eminent Scholar holding We Will Rebuild Chair; and, (3) taking up new duties managing the university's portfolio of federal relations projects.
