Ms. Dumas is an AV rated attorney with over 18 yearsí experience in commercial and other civil litigation. After graduating with honors in 1992, her practice has included complex business disputes, real estate, employment, and professional liability matters.
As an equity partner at O'Donnell Clark & Crew LLP, Ms. Dumas also represents the victims of childhood sexual abuse in cases against perpetrators and institutions of trust that allowed the abuse.
Ms. Dumas has tried many cases, both on her own and as second chair; taken over 200 depositions; handled dozens of arbitration hearings and mediations; researched and drafted complex briefs; and appeared in court on every kind of motion there is. She is an active member of the state and federal bars in California, Oregon, and Washington.
In her most recent trial, Ms. Dumas obtained a judgment of over $4,5 million for a young woman who had been sexually molested as a child. She was also actively involved in a recent child sexual abuse trial in Portland against the Boy Scouts that resulted in a $19.9 million verdict for the plaintiff.
Ms. Dumas serves on the Board of Trustees of the Cascade Policy Institute, a free-market think tank based in Portland. She is a former Chair of the Oregon State Barís Business Litigation Section and a former President of the Oregon Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
