Ms. Braddock resides in Huntsville, Alabama and works as an attorney for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and previously with the Army Contracting Command at Redstone Arsenal.
Ms. Braddock served as a Counsel in the Office of Legislative Counsel at the Pentagon. The Office of Legislative Counsel (OLC) is part of the Office of the General Counsel at the Department of Defense. OLC provides legal advice to the Secretary of Defense and all Department of Defense (DoD) components on matters concerning legislation, Congressional testimony, and Executive orders; manages the DoD legislative program; conducts legal and policy reviews of DoD legislative proposals and views reports on legislative proposals that originate outside the Department; and coordinates with the White House Office of Management and Budget for clearance of DoD legislative proposals, views reports, and Congressional testimony.
Prior to the Pentagon, she served as the Director of Coalitions and General Counsel for the House Republican Conference, working to build sustainable coalitions and provide sound legal and ethical counsel to the staff and Members.
Previously Ms. Braddock served as Counsel and Policy Advisor to House Republican Whip Roy Blunt; as Legislative Counsel for Senator Rick Santorum and as a professional staffer for then Chairman John Boehner on the Committee on Education and the Workforce in the U.S. House of Representatives.
Admitted to the bar in Alabama, Ms. Braddock holds a Political Science degree from Birmingham-Southern College, a Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama, and a Masters in Political Science, specializing in education policy, from Utah State University.
