Born 1945, only child of Capt. & Mrs. F.T. Clary, USMC Air Corps. Upon father's death, mother married Army Officer. Raised in military, attended high school in Izmir, Turkey, while stepfather at NATO Command there. Went to college in George, 1963-67, before joining US Army, 1967-71. Served in USA, Germany, and Vietnam. Graduated from law school in 1977 and commenced practice in Atlanta. Later practiced in North Georgia before moving to Fuerth, Germany to represent US military personnel in courts-martial actions, 1983-86.
Returned to Georgia and now live/practice law in St. Marys, GA. Divorced twice, with 2 children (son Ted Clary, 25, and daughter Ashley Clary, 20). One grandchild. Member of State Bar of Georgia, Ga. Assn of Crim. Def. Lawyers, National Assn. of Crim. Def. Lawyers, and Lawyers Club of Atlanta.
