Law School: University of South Carolina (2005)

I graduated law school from the University of South Carolina in 2005, and soon after taking the South Carolina Bar I relocated to the DC area.

Before law school, I worked as an aide on Capitol Hill from 1999 to 2002. I spent three months at the National Republican Senatorial Committee, worked for Congressman Mark Sanford from South Carolina, followed by Sanford's successor Henry Brown. In addition, I worked on Sanford's ultimately successful gubernatorial campaign in 2002.

Immediately after law school, I worked as a Policy Analyst with the House Republican Policy Committee, under our chairman Congressman John Shadegg. Due to Shadegg resigning as chair of the RPC for his ultimately unsuccessful Majority Leader bid, I became back out on the job market.

For about the past year, I have been working as an in-house contract attorney for Constantine Cannon LLP.
