Mitch is a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Idaho. He represents the Secretary of State and State Treasurer, advises the state legislature and the Bureau of Homeland Security and assists county prosecutors and city attorneys. He is a former private practitioner, general counsel for a high-tech manufacturing company, criminal prosecutor and Inspector General of the Idaho National Guard. He served on the staff of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee and the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, holds a masters degree in strategic studies from the U.S. Army War College and a juris doctorate from the Washington College of Law, The American University. Mitch is licensed to practice law in the State of Idaho and the Commonwealth of Virginia.
