I was born on August 9, 1983 in Cleveland, TN. I graduated from Lenoir City High School in Lenoir City, TN in 2001.

I attended Cleveland State C.C. from 2001-2003 attaining a GPA of 3.93 and receiving the Education Award for best student in my major.

I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005 with a GPA of 3.23, and was named to the Dean's List in the Spring and Fall of 2005. I was involved in the UNC College Republicans from 2003-2005 and worked for the Republican Party to re-elect Republican candidates during the 2004 election. I interned for the Republican National Committee in the Summer of 2005 in Washington, D.C.

I now live in Whitsett, NC and attend Elon School of Law in Greensboro, NC.

I like to play golf, watch and attend sporting events, and go to church.
