A native of Bardstown, Kentucky, David received his B.A. from Western Kentucky University. At Western, David was a member of the school's speech and debate team, where he won a national championship in Lincoln-Douglas Debate in 2001. After earning his M.A. in 2004 from the University of Louisville, following an internship with Senator Mitch McConnell, David attended law school at Saint Louis University School of Law. There, David won the Robert Dowd Moot Court Competition, was a Regional Semi-Finalist in the National Trial Competition, and was Managing Editor of the Saint Louis University Public Law Review.
David Practices with the law firm of Brown & James, P.C. a St. Louis-based civil litigation firm. David practices in the firms Arson Fraud Litigation, Insurance Law, and Premises and Retail Liability Practice Groups. David is an active member of the St. Louis Lawyers’ Chapter of the Federalist Society.
