Paul H. Derrick is a Partner in the Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, office of Jackson Lewis LLP, where he is the Litigation Manager. Mr. Derrick is a graduate of Newberry College and the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Bar and the Wagner Labor Law Moot Court Team.
Mr. Derrick is a former trial attorney with the National Labor Relations Board and has extensive experience in the representation of management. Since entering private practice, he has represented corporate and governmental employers across the country before federal and state courts, administrative and investigative agencies, and arbitration tribunals. Mr. Derrick has conducted many election campaigns and negotiated collective bargaining agreements on behalf of management, and he has successfully represented numerous clients in litigation concerning a broad range of employment and constitutional issues.
Mr. Derrick is a member of various national and local bar associations and business roundtable groups in the Carolinas and Tennessee, and is widely published on a variety of labor and employment topics. He is admitted in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, the United States Supreme Court, and many federal district and appellate courts.
