Natalie Rainforth Poteet resides in Washington, D.C. and is a Senior Associate at Roth Doner Jackson, PLC in McLean, Virginia. Natalie defends employers in business and employment law matters in both federal and state courts. Having exclusively represented management and corporations since graduating law school, she is knowledgeable in many areas of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, wrongful termination, employment discrimination, harassment, Title VII and corresponding state laws, intellectual property matters, and employee privacy issues. Natalie's practice also consists of developing and reviewing workplace policies and procedures, employment contracts, and non-competition agreements. Prior to relocating to the Washington, D.C. area, Natalie worked in the Los Angeles offices of two of the nationís leading law firms, both with global employment law practices. Since joining RDJ, her practice has expanded to include commercial litigation and financing.

During law school, Natalie served as a law clerk for the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee in Washington, D.C. There, she worked on campaign finance issues and other political and non-political legislation, including bills concerning immigration, political advertisements and robocall regulations, international treaties, religious freedom, labor law, and copyright. She was also a teaching assistant for first-year legal writing, a member of the Law Review and Moot Court Board, and a participant in legal study-abroad programs in London and Hong Kong. Her law review article, Campaign Finance & Randall v. Sorrell: How Much is Too Much and Who Decides? The Courtís Splintering Devotion to Its Own Problematic Framework, was published in 2007.

Even with a busy litigation practice, Natalie stays very active on the campaign finance and election law fronts. She has conducted election law trainings worked on a number of ballot integrity projects since graduating law school. She also served in the California War Room and as an attorney liaison to the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters during the 2008 and 2010 elections. For the 2012 general election, she traveled to Las Vegas to work in the Nevada War Room.

Natalie is a member of both the California and District of Columbia Bars.
