Ms. Ballard has practiced law in California since 1988 and her office is in Sacramento County. She is an experienced litigator and has participated in well over 300 depositions of parties, witnesses and experts. She served as as a volunteer Pro Tem Judge for Sacramento County from 1998 to 2006.

Ms. Ballard also serves as a compensated panel Arbitrator in both Sacramento and Placer Counties arbitrating tort disputes.

She is also licensed to practice in Nevada.

Currently her practice centers around defense of construction defect mattters, real estate litigation, and environmental claims (CERCLA) defense.

Ms. Ballard earned her undergraduate degree from Sophie Newcomb College of Tulane University in 1983. She held several chair positions in her sorority Phi Mu. She is an active Sophie Newcomb and Phi Mu alum.

Although she is recovering from a knee injury, she looks forward to getting back on the tennis courts for fun, competition and relaxation. Her other favorite hobby is travel and learning about other cultures.
