John Webb is a native of Tennessee and a graduate of the University of North Alabama with a degree in Business Management. John served on active duty with the United States Army as an infantry platoon leader in the 101st Airborne Division. His military schools include: Airborne, Air Assault and Ranger. After active duty, John spent over 10 years in the reserves, including an assignment to the 11th Special Forces Group.
John holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Regent University School of Law and is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the United States Supreme Court Bar. After law school, he worked as a field representative on a successful congressional campaign and then served as a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Van Hilleary (R) in his Washington, DC office. John covered the areas of national security, judiciary and education. John next worked for Computer Systems Technology, Inc., a defense contractor, as their Director of Washington Operations. He then served as Associate General Counsel and Director of Government Relations for the American Council of Independent Laboratories, a trade association representing the commercial laboratory testing industry. He currently serves as Associate Legal Counsel and Manager of Government Relations for the Direct Selling Association, where he works on state and federal legislative matters. John and his wife, Sheila, have four daughters, Rebecca, Laura Rachel and Stephanie.
