My involvement with the Republican party truly began during my time as an undergraduate at the George Washington University. Outside of membership in GW's College Republicans, most notably I volunteered several times with the Republican Governors' Association, as well as at the White House during President Bush's terms. Professionally though, prior to my entry into law school, I worked at Old Dominion University for several years as an Academic Advisor to undergraduate students in the College of Health Sciences, then I later went on to work for ODU's Office of Development as a Prospect Research Analyst. However, law school was always my long term goal, and given the growing national presence of Regent's law program, I applied and was accepted to Regent University School of Law. My interest in being actively involved in Republican activities, however, has not waned, and the RNLA provides a fantastic opportunity to combine two of my passions in life - law and politics.
