Catharine Baker is an attorney at Hoge Fenton Jones & Appel in Pleasanton, California, where she advises privately-held businesses and financial institutions as litigation and general counsel on a wide variety of matters, including litigation, employment law, trust administration, and intellectual property.
She is the Bay Area Regional Chair of Romney for President 2012. In 2010, Catharine was Campaign Counsel and Manager of Special Projects for David Harmer for Congress. In that capacity, Catharine oversaw the Harmer campaign's ballot integrity operations before and after the election, including during the post-election canvass. She is a frequent speaker and advocate in favor of ballot integrity reforms to make California’s elections the most legitimate, accessible, and accurate elections in the country.
Prior to attending law school, Catharine served as Senior Legislative Assistant to Congressman Sonny Bono in Washington, DC. She is a former Abraham Lincoln Fellow with the Claremont Institute for Statesmanship and Public Policy in Claremont, California, and she is a member of the Alameda County Central Committee, Blackhawk Republican Women Federated, and the Lincoln Club of Northern California.
