Law School: U of AR at Little Rock (1978)

Practice Areas:

BBA in Accounting-Baylor University--1975
JD--U of AR at Little Rock--1978
LLM-Tax--SMU--1979
Passed CPA-1978 (inactive)

Have practiced law since 1978; have owned my own law practice since 1985; also own a separate accounting services company and a professional farm services company.

I have four adult children, all of whom work in my businesses as professionals--2 attorneys, 1 accountant and 1 farm manager and real estate broker--he is also a Captain in the AR National Guard. All four are members of the GOP and active in local Republican activities and campaigns. I had a 30 year marriage and am now widowed.

I have been active in conservative political groups off and on since 1992, which started during a period when I homeschooled our children. This time in my life prompted my personal study of our founding documents and a renewed study of Constitutional law.

During my career, I have assited many groups from the ground up on a pro bono basis which were established for public benefit--from a religious, political and educational prospective.

Within the past year I am the co-founder of four affiliated non-profit entities which are organized to promote and support small business interests in Arkansas. One is a 501.c.3 policy "think tank;" one is a 501.c.3 legal defense fund; the other two are 501.c.4 PACs which support Arkansas pro small business legislation and candidates respectively.

It is expected and hoped that the legal defense fund will assist in the growth of more conservative attorneys in Arkansas and ultimately on the bench.

I am currently running for JP in my county in order to undergird my plea to others to become involved from the grassroots level up.

I have also recently founded and am the first president of the second online Republican Women's Club in the nation.
