Joshua Wolson represents manufacturing, media, real estate, technology, and financial services companies, among others, in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes class actions, and antitrust, intellectual property, business tort, and defamation/first amendment matters. He also has experience in criminal forfeiture proceedings. Josh has experience in all phases of litigation, including multi-district litigation proceedings, class certification matters, expert witnesses, trial and ADR proceedings, and appeals. He has appeared in federal and state courts all around the country.

Josh’s litigation experience covers a wide range of industries and practice areas. He has represented credit card issuers, deposit institutions, pharmaceutical companies, manufacturers, professional societies and trade associations, real estate brokers, insurance brokers, entertainment companies, professional sports leagues, newspapers, television networks, television stations, radio station owners, technology startups, and condominium associations. He has handled antitrust disputes, class actions, unfair trade practices and consumer protection claims, defamation actions both in media and private settings, products liability actions including mass tort cases, contract disputes between vendors and customers professional liability disputes, copyright, trademark, and patent cases, insurance coverage disputes, RICO cases, and securities actions. Josh has first chaired arbitration and court cases, and he has appeared before federal and state courts throughout the country, as well as ADR tribunals and before the European Commission.

Josh served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jan E. DuBois of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He started his career at a firm based in Washington, D.C., and he is dually resident in Dilworth Paxson’s offices in Philadelphia and Washington.

Josh has had articles published in several publications, including Antitrust magazine and the Legal Intelligencer. He is the author of a regular blog hosted by the Legal Intelligencer. He is active in the American Bar Association, where he co-chairs the Privilege Subcommittee of the Section of Litigation Commercial and Business Litigation Committee. He also served as a contributor to the 2010 Update to Antitrust Law Developments. Josh has been very active in the University of Pennsylvania’s alumni community. He currently serves as counsel to and a member of the executive board of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Philadelphia, and he is a past president of the University of Pennsylvania Alumni Club of Washington, D.C.
