Douglas Seaton is a founder of Seaton, Peters & Revnew, P.A. His firm's practice is dedicated exclusively to representing employers in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings; counseling employers on policies and practices, discipline, discharge, and claims; representing management in labor matters; and pursuing labor policy cases.
Mr. Seaton has advised or spoken before legislative committees, employer groups and employer training sessions in several states. He is also a former chair of the Minnesota State Bar Association's Labor and Employment Law Section and has been named a Super Lawyer and Leading Lawyer by his peers. He has degrees from Princeton, Rutgers, and William Mitchell, and he writes and teaches frequently on labor and employment law topics. Mr. Seaton has overturned unfair and unconstitutional ordinances, statutes and Executive Orders on behalf of small business clients, most recently Governor Dayton's infamous family child care forced unionization Order.
Seaton, Peters & Revnew, P.A. (The Lawyers for Employers) represents hundreds of employers with operations in most states and proudly claims to be the premier management labor and employment law firm in the Upper Midwest. The firm is the regional member for Worklaw Network, the national management labor and employment law firm consortium.
Mr. Seaton has been an active Republican, a delegate and a donor in his State Senate and Congressional Districts and in state and national campaigns for decades.
