Originally from New York City, Donna Coury has called Cleveland home for the last 22 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science DSCN0438degree in Dietetics from the State University of New York at Oneonta, a Masterís Degree in Nutrition and Physical Fitness from New York University and a Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Cleveland Marshall College of Law. After completing her legal education, Donna served as an Assistant Cuyahoga County Prosecutor for eight years.
For over 25 years Donna has helped non-profit organizations to identify prospects, maintain crucial donor relations, implement annual and capital campaigns and raise the funds needed to advance their missions and attain their specific fund raising goals. She is the President and C.E.O. of Ronco Construction, which specializes in health care design, building, and remodeling. Roncoís renovation of the Aristocrat Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Facility was awarded the Cleveland Clinicís prestigious, Best Health Care Remodel Award in 2010.
Despite the demands of an active career she found personal satisfaction through pro bono and philanthropic service. She continues to volunteer as a member of the Board of Directors, a special event planner, and a fundraiser for the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center and is also an active fundraising volunteer for several other non-profit organizations in the Cleveland area.
In 2012, Donna Coury founded Development Management Consultants (DMC), a company committed to empowering its clients to further their missions by providing counsel, consulting, and strategic planning for non-profit organizations and individual donors. DMC has enabled Donna to utilize her legal training and event planning skills to implement unique fundraising techniques for non-profit organizations. Additionally, her experience as a general contractor and project manager allows her clients to maximize every dollar raised for the use of making capital improvements to better serve the needs of the community. Donna Coury and her associates at DMC feel truly blessed to represent individuals and organizations dedicated to making their communities a better place and to assisting these entities in turning their visions into realities.
Donna serves on the Board of Directors of the Domestic Violence and Child Advocacy Center of Cleveland. She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
