William J. Brotherton is the principal attorney of the Brotherton Law Firm, a seven lawyer firm focusing on business, insurance, energy, transportation, real estate and complex civil litigation in Texas and North Dakota. He serves as a Tribal Council member for the Abenaki Nation of Missisquoi in Vermont, a recognized tribe, and in the summer of 2016 he became an adopted member of the Spirit Lake Sioux in North Dakota and received the Sioux name of Tasunka Masa (Iron Horse).
