The Board of Governors of the Republican National Lawyers Association is pleased to announce the selection of Larry Levy as the 2017 Republican Lawyer of the Year. This award recognizes a lawyer for outstanding professional accomplishments and years of dedicated service to the Republican Party and its ideals. Mr. Levy will be formally recognized as the 2017 Republican Lawyer of the Year at a special reception October 25 at the City Club in Washington, DC.
Special guests include Mayor Rudy Giuliani and other leading Republican and conservative lawyers to be announced soon. Proceeds will go towards advancing RNLA's missions including: advancing professionalism; ensuring that elections are open, fair and honest; promoting career opportunity; and upholding Republican ideals.

Larry Levy is a Shareholder at Greenberg Traurig and focuses his practice on political law and campaign finance in both national and state matters. Additionally, Larry advises clients on regulatory matters before federal and state agencies, including serving as a registered lobbyist, internal investigations, white collar defense, operation of non-profit entities, cybersecurity, litigation and ethics.
Prior to joining the firm Larry represented clients in the above fields in private practice, as well as serving as Chief Counsel to the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Committee. Larry served three New York City Mayors as Special Counsel and served as the Inspector General of the City’s Law Department and Office of the Mayor. From 1997 through 2001, Larry was Deputy Counsel to Mayor Giuliani. In that capacity, he was involved in all aspects of city governance, including economic development, emergency management, public safety, ethics and crisis management.
Larry currently serves as the Vice Chair of the RNLA, and prior to that served as President and Vice President for Finance. During his tenure as President throughout the 2016 Presidential election cycle, Larry led the RNLA through a period of membership and fiscal growth, including securing major donations that made the RNLA a million-dollar organization.
In addition to his involvement with the RNLA, Larry serves as Chairman of America’s Camp Foundation, Pro Bono Counsel for the Nassau County Police Department Foundation; a Board Member for the National Law Enforcement and Firefighter’s Children Foundation; and served as President of the Twin Towers Fund from 2001-2003.
