Jason Hanselman's s practice focuses on several areas related to regulatory policy, including elections, energy, healthcare, and education. Jason's clients include political parties and candidate, ballot question campaigns, utilities, businesses, and educational bodies. Jason regularly represents Republican Presidential, Gubernatorial, and other candidates. In 2016, Jason represented the Republican National Committee and Donald J. Trump in defending and ultimately stopping the Presidential recount through litigation before the Michigan Supreme Court and US District Court. In 2019, Jason represented the Michigan Senate in defending Michigan's redistricting map against a challenge by the League of Women Voters which resulted in a victory before the US Supreme Court.  In 2020, Jason represented the Michigan Republican Party in a lawsuit against Michigan’s Democratic Secretary of State to block implementation of Michigan’s Redistricting Commission because the new law creating the Commission violates the First and Fourteenth Amendments to the US Constitution.
