Two separate groups of Republican senators had eventful visits to the southern border this week, providing a stark contrast to President Biden's visit over the weekend. As we noted earlier this week, the Biden visit was short and provided a sanitized look at the issues facing border states.

On Sunday, President Biden finally visited the U.S.-Mexico Border after two years in office. Ironically, one highlight of President Biden's trip was a photo-op in front of the border wall erected by the Trump Administration to deter illegal border crossings from Mexico—the very same border wall that he and other Democrats pledged to cease building. In recent weeks, both Democrats and Republicans have criticized President Biden for the border crisis created by his administration.

Earlier this week, the U.S. Supreme Court stayed a lower court's ruling to keep the pandemic-era Title 42 immigration policy in place which many see as the only thing stopping the crisis out our southern border from becoming even more out of control than it already is. National Review reported:

In a filing, Chief Justice Roberts stayed the lower court order that ended the pandemic-era policy, which had allowed the administration to expel illegal immigrants as a means to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. Roberts gave the DOJ until Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. to file a response to the states petitioning to maintain Title 42.

Biden's Border Crisis is off the charts, and there's no end in sight.

It's no wonder considering the Biden Administration and Democrat lawmakers are all practically encouraging people to cross the border with their policies in a direct affront to law and order.

When thinking about illegal immigration, immigration from Central America typically comes to mind. However, more and more immigrants are coming from countries beyond our neighbors directly to the south of us:

Undocumented crossings at the U.S. southern border have long been dominated by people from Mexico and Central America — but for the first time since at least the turn of the century, migrants from other nations made up the majority of those stopped by authorities.

After months of Democrats continually denying its existence, the left exploded with outrage after the Biden Border Crisis reached Martha's Vineyard, home to former President Obama and liberal stronghold. Florida Governor Ron DeSantis relocated 50 migrants there earlier this week.

There is no greater example of the breakdown of law and order under the Biden administration than the crisis on our southern border. According to a report by CNN, the crisis is the deadliest it's ever been, with a record number of migrants who've died crossing the border during the last fiscal year:

Nearly 750 migrants have died at the southern border this fiscal year, a record that surpasses last year's total by more than 200 people, according to Department of Homeland Security figures shared with CNN. . .

The breakdown of law and order on our southern border with Mexico has reached new heights with over 2 million migrant encounters in fiscal year 2022 alone:

The number of migrant encounters at the southern border this fiscal year has now exceeded two million, sources tell Fox News — a number that marks a new record, as well as a glaring sign of the enormous and ongoing crisis facing agents, officials and communities at the border.

Last week, Congressman and New York gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin was attacked while giving a campaign speech. Zeldin, who was ironically giving a speech about bail reform during the attack, predicted that the assailant would be released. Unfortunately, this prediction came true. (The attacker was subsequently arrested again after federal charges were filed.)

A man tried to assassinate @RepLeeZeldin with a knife. Thankfully, Lee is safe, but his attacker is already released back on the streets.

Democrats’ soft-on-crime policies are outrageous, but since Lee is a Republican, the media will largely ignore the attack.
