Today, Attorney General William Barr testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on the report by special counsel Robert Mueller.

He re-affirmed what we already know to be true: President Trump did not collude with the Russian government.

As expected, Democrats’ theatrics were put on full display throughout the hearing as they attacked AG Barr and accused him of petty mishandling of the report.

On Thursday, Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report will be released to the public. Democrats are wasting no time with their disgraceful antics, already accusing Attorney General Bill Barr of political cover up for redacting portions of the report.

For quite some time, there have been allegations that Obama-era intelligence officers were politically motivated during the 2016 presidential election and spied on the Trump campaign. While Democrats have completely dismissed this potentially serious abuse of power, U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr testified this week that he suspects misconduct of federal authorities did in fact occur.

After a long wait, Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian collusion is finally complete and a summary by Attorney General Bill Barr has been released.  RNLA's Vice President for Communications Harmeet Dhillon appeared on Fox News over the weekend to analyze the Mueller report and how the Democrats' "hysterical" claims have been shown to be false:

President Donald Trump has announced an outstanding choice to be the new Deputy Attorney General in Jeffery Rosen.  Despite more #fakenews about former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein being forced out, Rosenstein has always said he would step down upon the swearing in of a new Attorney General.  Furthermore the Department of Justice has clearly stated the so-called 25^th Amendment talk and Rosenstein was more fake news.  As the Department of Justice points out Rosenstein "was not in a position to consider invoking the 25th Amendment" and denied the allegations.

We bring this up because it will be an effort to detract from the real story.  Rosenstein’s planned departure should in no way detract from the outstanding nomination of Jeffery Rosen.  Rosen has outstanding qualifications:

Today, the Senate Judiciary Committee began its public consideration of William Barr, President Trump’s nominee for attorney general. Senate Judiciary Democrats tried and failed to trip up Mr. Barr, who was professional, calm, and lawyerly throughout the hearing.  He frequently declared that he would be an independent attorney general committed to the rule of law and the Constitution, as he was when he served as President George H.W. Here's a look back at what happened the last time the Senate considered him for the same job.

In 1991, then-Senate Judiciary Chairman and potential 2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Joe Biden praised William Barr, President Trump's nominee to be attorney general.  After the Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously voted in favor of him and shortly before the Senate unanimously confirmed him by voice vote to be attorney general under President George H.W. Bush, Chairman Biden said:
