Democrats Protect our Elections Like They Protect Our Border—They Don’t

In 1996, when Democrats still thought illegal immigration was a bad thing, President Bill Clinton signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act making it illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections. However, since then, a growing number of states have begun allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections. This fundamentally undermines the sanctity of citizen votes and threatens the integrity of our system of government.

Mayorkas Fails to Answer for Biden Border Crisis Yet Again

On Wednesday, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas testified before the House Judiciary Committee and again failed to answer for the Biden Administration's disastrous border and immigration policies. Fox News reported, "[A] number of Republicans doubled down on accusing Mayorkas of pushing 'open border policies' and expressed anger at what they saw as Mayorkas not answering any of their questions."

DOJ Shows True Colors in Non-Citizen Voting Case

Non-citizens should not vote in American elections.  Period.  Even a child can quickly understand why this is such a necessary principle for maintaining free and fair elections.  Yet Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) seems to think otherwise. 

Yesterday, the DOJ Civil Rights Division filed a lawsuit against Arizona for passing H.B. 2492, a commonsense bill that requires proof of citizenship for registering to vote.  And as the Biden border crisis rages on, the DOJ’s true colors are beginning to shine through.
