Democrats' Favorite Stacey Abrams' Refusal to Concede Is Poor Example

Posted on Blog by Lisa Dixon · August 22, 2019 6:03 PM

RNLA Vice President for Communications Harmeet Dhillon published an op-ed on Fox Opinion today titled "Democrat Stacey Abrams' sore-loser example is the wrong message for America":

But even [Hillary] Clinton – who conceded her loss to Trump – looks like a good sport compared to Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams, who lost the 2018 gubernatorial election but remains in raging denial of reality. . . . Abrams has never conceded – instead, she proffers wild conspiracy theories about how the election was “rigged,” even as she admits to The New York Times: “I have no empirical evidence that I would have achieved a higher number of votes.”

Colorado Allowing 17-year-olds to Vote Is a Win for Democrats, Not Democracy

Posted on Blog by Christina Norton · August 12, 2019 8:47 PM

Starting this year, thousands of teenagers in Colorado are now eligible to vote at the age of 17. The “Colorado Votes Act” allows 17-year-olds to vote in primary elections as long as they’ll turn 18 by the general election.

While Democrats masked this initiative in the name of youth civic engagement, their true intentions are to gain a political advantage and it could not be more obvious.

Dems Make Ridiculous Claims at Florida Election Hearing

Posted on Blog by Christina Norton · May 06, 2019 4:43 PM

On Monday, the Committee on House Administration's Election Subcommittee held a hearing in Florida on “Voting Rights and Election Administration.”

Democrats intentionally stacked the panel full of liberal congressional members and witnesses in order to outnumber Republican representation and stifle our perspective from being heard.

While Congressman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) was the only Republican member and Logan Churchwell (Public Interest Legal Foundation) served as the only Republican witness, they stood their ground and spoke the truth.

HR 1: Democrat Hypocrisy Act

Posted on Blog by Michael Thielen · March 05, 2019 7:06 PM

The Democrat Politician Protection Act, or as it is officially called HR 1, the For the People Act of 2019, is being rushed to the House floor this week.  This unprecedented rewriting of all aspects of elections is ironic, because it does many things that the Democrats have screamed about for years.

Posted on Blog by Lisa Dixon · February 26, 2019 9:10 PM

In today's markup of House Resolution 1, the House Committee on Administration defeated on party-line votes all amendments offered by the three Republican members to attempt to fix problems with the bill. The RNLA live-tweeted the markup, and here are some highlights (or, lowlights):

Posted on Blog by Richard Kisielowski · February 01, 2019 8:29 PM

Lawyers Democracy Fund (LDF) has just released a summary and comprehensive analysis of House Democrats' attempt to commandeer America's elections. In short, the massive compilation of major election chances is being pushed through the House of Representatives, likely without any substantive hearings, expert testimony from election officials, or meaningful markup and on a blatantly partisan basis. As LDF describes:

McConnell: HR 1 Would "Federalize Our Nation’s Elections" & Increase DC Bureaucrats' Power

Posted on Blog by Lisa Dixon · January 30, 2019 5:35 PM

Yesterday, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell made his first floor speech about the dangers of the House Democrats' flagship legislation, House Resolution 1 (HR 1).  He said it was only a "quick tour" and promised to come regularly to the floor to describe the problems in the lengthy "effort to rewrite the rules to favor Democrats and their friends" so that all Americans can know about the dangers of its provisions.
