One of Pennsylvania’s top Democrat political activists is allegedly running a shady GOTV website that is surreptitiously collecting user data for political campaign purposes from unsuspecting voters who are tricked into thinking the site is an official state government election site. The URL, Vote.pa, closely resembles the official state voter registration website, vote.pa.gov. Not only that, Gov. Josh Shapiro allowed his signature to be used on mailers guiding people to request mail-in ballots through the site according to investigative journalist Todd Shepherd at Broad & Liberty.

On Monday, Committee on House Administration Chairman Bryan Steil introduced the American Confidence in Elections Act (ACE Act), "the most conservative election integrity bill to be seriously considered in the House in over 20 years":

On Monday, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) informed House Oversight Republicans that it would not complying with a subpoena to hand over unclassified documents to the Committee regarding an ongoing investigation into an alleged criminal scheme involving President Joe Biden while he was Vice President. As a result, Chairman James Comer has announced the Committee's Republicans' intention to hold FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress.

On behalf of House Republicans, Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan has issued a batch of subpoenas to Biden Administration officials regarding their role in the Department of Justice's (DOJ) alleged targeting of parents who stood up to local school boards for implementing woke policies. The Daily Caller reported:

According to the subpoena, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona is “commanded” to produce documents before the Judiciary Committee on March 1, 2023, at 9 a.m. ET. The subpoena comes as Jordan sent four letters to various officials Friday, calling for information and interviews the committee has been requesting, in a final warning shot before he sent the subpoena their way.

Today, members of the House Republican Caucus rolled out their Commitment to America, a series of significant reforms that will serve as the Republicans' first priorities once they regain the majority in January 2023. 

Alongside other broad-ranging topics, Leader Kevin McCarthy re-emphasized the Republican Caucus’ promise to “end special treatment for members of Congress by repealing proxy voting, and increase accountability in the election process through voter ID, accurate voter rolls, and observer access.”
