The Republican National Lawyers Association Wisconsin State Chair Lane Ruhland was recently featured in Wisconsin's premier political news service, WisPolitics.com, with a guest column warning of the looming disaster noncitizen voting poses to America.

Democrats Protect our Elections Like They Protect Our Border—They Don’t

Posted on Blog by Catherine Mortensen · March 13, 2024 8:21 PM

In 1996, when Democrats still thought illegal immigration was a bad thing, President Bill Clinton signed the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act making it illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections. However, since then, a growing number of states have begun allowing noncitizens to vote in local elections. This fundamentally undermines the sanctity of citizen votes and threatens the integrity of our system of government.

OH and NE Ballot Measures Are a Bright Spot for Election Integrity

Posted on Blog by Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) · November 10, 2022 5:44 PM

Ballot initiatives often play an important role in passing election integrity measures, and this year was no different. Ohioans approved a measure banning noncitizen voting, while Nebraskans voted in favor of a voter ID requirement.

The Ohio ban on noncitizen voting was overwhelmingly approved and will be enshrined in the state constitution:

The Buckeye State’s voters overwhelmingly chose to ban noncitizens from voting in state and local elections in Issue 2, an election integrity initiative on this year’s ballot , with more than 77% approval as of early Wednesday and just 8% of precincts left to report.

ICYMI-“Accident" leads to 30,000 Noncitizens Receiving Voter Registration Notices

Posted on Blog by Michael Thielen · October 12, 2022 10:03 PM

Yet another Democrat secretary of state has “accidently” encouraged non-citizens to illegal register to vote. This time it is Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold:

Around 30,000 non-U.S. citizens living in Colorado were mistakenly sent postcards late last month encouraging them to register to vote. . . .

That Department of Revenue driver's license list includes residents issued special licenses for people who are not U.S. citizens. But it didn't include formatting information that normally would have allowed the Department of State to eliminate those names before the mailers went out, Griswold's office said.

The Colorado postcards, in English and Spanish, specify that residents must be U.S. citizens and at least 18 years old to register. They tell recipients how to register but are not a registration form.

DOJ Shows True Colors in Non-Citizen Voting Case

Posted on Blog by Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) · July 06, 2022 5:44 PM

Non-citizens should not vote in American elections.  Period.  Even a child can quickly understand why this is such a necessary principle for maintaining free and fair elections.  Yet Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) seems to think otherwise.

Yesterday, the DOJ Civil Rights Division filed a lawsuit against Arizona for passing H.B. 2492, a commonsense bill that requires proof of citizenship for registering to vote.  And as the Biden border crisis rages on, the DOJ’s true colors are beginning to shine through.

Republicans Push Back Against Noncitizen Voting

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth El-Rassy · December 20, 2021 3:56 PM

In an unprecedented action, the New York City Council approved legislation earlier this month that will give 800,000 noncitizen residents the right to vote in local elections. The New York Post reported:

After an unsuccessful 11th-hour attempt by more than a dozen Democratic and Republican lawmakers to send the legislation back to a committee to be adjusted, the bill passed the 51-member body 33-14 with two abstentions, sending it to Mayor Bill de Blasio’s desk.

ICYMI: RNC Sues Over Non-Citizen Voting

Dems Make Ridiculous Claims at Florida Election Hearing

Posted on Blog by Christina Norton · May 06, 2019 4:43 PM

On Monday, the Committee on House Administration's Election Subcommittee held a hearing in Florida on “Voting Rights and Election Administration.”

Democrats intentionally stacked the panel full of liberal congressional members and witnesses in order to outnumber Republican representation and stifle our perspective from being heard.

While Congressman Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) was the only Republican member and Logan Churchwell (Public Interest Legal Foundation) served as the only Republican witness, they stood their ground and spoke the truth.

Texas AG: Nearly 100,000 Non-Citizens on Texas Voter Rolls, More than Half Illegally Voted

Posted on Blog by Richard Kisielowski · January 28, 2019 6:54 PM

After an 11-month investigation, the Texas Attorney General's office announced they had found nearly 100,000 non-citizens erroneously listed in state voter rolls. More shockingly, more than half of those non-citizens have reportedly voted illegally at least once in an election since registering. Fox News reports:

Part 2: Top Blog Posts of 2018 – Vote Fraud, Ballot Mishandling, and the Obstruction of Free Speech

Posted on Blog by Alyssa Specht Garcia · December 31, 2018 3:00 PM

The 2018 election saw the continuance of the Democrats' attempts at vote fraud, voter disenfranchisement, and ballot mishandling at the county and state levels. Republicans also experienced an attack on the their First Amendment rights, but luckily Republican free speech advocates are on their side. The below posts show exactly how Democrats have influenced elections and interfered with individuals' rights.
