The Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) elected seven new members to its Board of Governors at its annual board meeting on December 16, 2020. These elite attorneys will help to lead the over 6,000-member strong organization.

On December 16, 2020, the Board of Governors of the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) elected David K. Bowsher as the new president of the organization. He will help to lead the over 6000-member-strong organization in 2021.

Chairwoman McDaniel’s faithful service to the Republican Party foreshadows all she will continue to do in her newly elected coming term as RNC Chair. RNLA salutes RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel’s relentless efforts this past election cycle on behalf of Republicans across the country.

Today, President Donald J. Trump announced his nominee for the vacancy on the United States Supreme Court: Judge Amy Coney Barrett of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. The Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) strongly supports Judge Barrett’s nomination and applauds President Trump for his excellent choice.

The Board of Governors of the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) named Joanne W. Young of Washington, DC, the 2020 Republican Lawyer of the Year. Mrs. Young was selected in recognition of her outstanding professional accomplishments and years of tireless dedication in service to the Republican Party. She will be honored at a reception in Washington, DC, on Thursday, September 17, 2020.

The Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) is pleased to announce that its fourth Robert J. Horn Chairman’s Award was bestowed on Harvey Tettlebaum during the 19th National Election Law Seminar in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, on July 10-11, 2020.

The Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) thanks former Federal Election Commission (FEC) Commissioner Caroline Hunter for her years of public service on the FEC. Ms. Hunter resigned from the FEC earlier this month.
