Republicans are Working to Defeat Democrat Election Schemes Before They Happen

Posted on Blog by Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) · May 22, 2024 1:05 PM

More than half of Americans believe that not enough is being done to prevent election cheating. The other half are likely Democrats who are promoting the very election schemes that are undermining voter confidence! In all seriousness, Republicans have never been more prepared to stop Democrat election dodges than they are now.

ICYMI: RNC Fights Big Tech Censorship with New Lawsuit

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth El-Rassy · November 07, 2022 9:42 PM

In October, the Republican National Committee (RNC) announced it would be taking Google to court over the big tech company's alleged use of spam filters to block get-out-the-vote (GOTV) and fundraising efforts:

the Republican National Committee (RNC) filed a lawsuit against Google in federal court regarding its censorship of Republican fundraising and get-out-the-vote (GOTV) emails. For nearly a year, the RNC has tracked how Google has arbitrarily throttled the RNC’s ability to communicate with Gmail users by routing nearly 100% of RNC emails to spam during key fundraising and GOTV periods like clockwork each month. Earlier this year, the RNC filed an FEC complaint after the publication of a non-partisan study which found that Gmail, Google’s email platform, routed Republican emails to “spam” at a rate approximately 820% higher than similar Democrat emails during the 2020 Election cycle, while Microsoft Outlook and Yahoo did not.

On Sunday, the RNC, NRCC, and the PAGOP filed a lawsuit against the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for its plan to illegally accept undated mail-in-ballots in direct opposition to a ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court earlier this month.

Pennsylvania Democrats have a history of undermining election integrity and ignoring rules set by the PA legislature.

RNC Files Suits in MI and AZ

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth El-Rassy · October 06, 2022 9:27 PM

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has filed multiple lawsuits this week in Michigan and Arizona seeking to defend the integrity of our elections. In Michigan, the RNC joined the Michigan Republican Party in suing Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Director of Elections Jonathan Brater for issuing "a new set of rules" regarding election challengers without following the proper procedure:

Those new rules, however, are directly inconsistent with the plain language of the Michigan Election Law, prior guidance issued by the Secretary of State, and current common practice. And despite the fact that this Court has held on at least two recent occasions that Secretary Benson issued rules in violation of Michigan’s Administrative Procedures Act (“APA”), see Davis v Benson, No. 20-000207-MZ, 2020 WL 7033534 (Mich. Ct. Cl. Oct. 27, 2020); Genetski v Benson, No. 20-000216-MM, 2021 WL 1624452 (Mich. Ct. Cl. Mar. 09, 2021), none of the new rules set forth in the 2022 Election Challenger Instructions were promulgated in accordance with the APA.

Posted on Blog by Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) · September 21, 2022 5:27 PM

While Democrats do just about all they can to undermine election integrity and weaken important election procedures by filing innumerable frivolous lawsuits, Republicans are fighting back to uphold the rule of law and promote transparency in elections.

On Tuesday, September 20, the Republican National Committee announced that it filed a lawsuit in Clark County, Nevada to compel election officials to respond to public records requests seeking public information regarding the partisan breakdown and political affiliation of poll workers.

Jan. 6 Committee Attacks Constitutional Rights of RNC and Its Supporters

Posted on Blog by Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) · March 16, 2022 9:39 PM

Last week, the Republican National Committee filed a complaint against the January 6th Committee to stop the enforcement of an "overbroad" and "unauthorized" subpoena compelling Salesforce to produce "sensitive and proprietary data over more than a two month period, which would give the Select Committee unprecedented access to the RNC’s internal political strategies and to private, personal information regarding its supporters." While it is common practice for companies like Salesforce to decline compliance with similar subpoenas during pending litigation, a new request for an injunction from the RNC explains that Salesforce plans to comply unless the court intervenes.

Election Admin Issues Abound in Pennsylvania

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth El-Rassy · February 15, 2022 3:15 PM

Recordings obtained from a whistleblower in Delaware County, Pennsylvania show rampant election administration problems in the suburban Philadelphia county:

To date, the videos have exposed a wide array of problems with election integrity, including on-tape admissions that the election laws were not complied with, that 80 percent of provisional ballots lacked a proper chain-of-custody, that there were missing removable drives for some of the voting machines, and that election workers “recreated” new drives to response to the Right to Know request.
