Every year, the Ronald Reagan Legacy Project aims to have every governor proclaim February 6 as Ronald Reagan Day in honor of President Reagan’s birthday.
President Reagan worked to restore the American spirit and instill a sense of pride in the nation during a time of great challenge. He worked tirelessly to promote these ideals both at home and abroad. His unique ability to connect with people from all walks of life endeared him to millions of Americans.

Today, President Trump gave Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the United States' highest civilian honor. Senator Hatch was given the award along with six others, including the late Justice Antonin Scalia. Senator Hatch, who is retiring, is currently the longest-serving senator and Senate President pro tempore, and voted on the confirmation of every current Supreme Court justice.
