Republican leadership is reacting to Russia's unacceptable invasion of Ukraine. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell stated:

Going forward, as I’ve said before, the United States and NATO must redouble our material support for Ukraine’s resistance, further shore up our allies, get serious about energy independence, and invest in the capabilities needed for long-term military competition with Russia and China. Here in Congress, upcoming defense spending measures will provide an opportunity to lead by example.

Tensions are ramping up in Eastern Europe. On Thursday, Russia announced that it has begun military exercises which many see as a potential precursor to a Russian invasion of Ukraine:

The military drills, called "Allied Resolve-2022," began in Belarus and will end February 20, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced Thursday in a statement. . .

The Russian collusion narrative is now a total bust for Democrats in their never-ending attacks on President Trump.  Now Democrats have turned to using admitted liar Michael Cohen, not to go after President Trump directly, but the banks and accounting firms he used long before he was President.   

Seemingly the left and the Democrats’ top messaging priority for a number of years has been that Russia somehow “stole” the election for President Trump in 2016.  Facts have regularly proven this narrative false but the reality is the narrative is helping the Russians.  In a USA Today op-ed Eric Wang makes the case:
