Posted on Blog by Elizabeth Bradford El-Rassy · April 13, 2022 6:48 PM

A federal judge has denied Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman's motion to dismiss a case resulting from Special Counsel John Durham's probe into the so-called "Steele Dossier." The Washington Examiner reported:

The judge presiding over the false statements case against Michael Sussmann shot down the defendant’s motion to dismiss special counsel John Durham’s indictment, denying the Democratic cybersecurity lawyer’s effort to avoid trial next month.

Durham Investigation - Are More Indictments Coming?

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth Bradford El-Rassy · November 15, 2021 5:22 PM

Earlier this month, a third criminal indictment was made resulting from Special Counsel John Durham's investigation into the so-called "Steele Dossier." Former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe believes that more indictments are coming:

“Many of the documents that John Durham is using are documents that I gave him. So I declassified the documents that we’ve talked about, but I gave John Durham over 1,000 other documents that have not yet been declassified that I know, including intelligence that goes specifically to this criminal activity that would be the basis for further indictments,” the ex-spy chief said. . .

More Mueller Missteps: DOJ Complains When a Defendant Defends Itself

Posted on Blog by Michael Thielen · March 17, 2020 7:39 PM

In an effort to take advantage of the Tony Blair rule of politics (bury bad news during a disaster), the Mueller investigation suffered yet another blow yesterday. According to Time:

The Justice Department is moving to drop charges against two Russian companies that were accused of funding a social media campaign to sway American public opinion during the 2016 U.S. presidential election. . . .

Concord Management and Consulting LLC and Concord Catering were among three companies and 13 individuals charged in 2018 by special counsel Robert Mueller in a conspiracy to spread disinformation on social media during the 2016 presidential race. The effort was aimed at dividing American public opinion and sowing discord in the electorate, officials said. . . .

The case was one of the signature indictments from Mueller’s two-year Russia investigation.

5. February 7: SENATE JUDICIARY ADVANCES AG NOMINEE BARR AND 44 JUDICIAL NOMINEES

Democrats' Mueller Show is a Flop

Posted on Blog by Christina Norton · July 24, 2019 4:34 PM

Former special counsel Robert Mueller testified this morning for the first time in front of the House Judiciary Committee regarding his report on Russian interference in the 2016 election.

While Americans know that no collusion occurred between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, many questions remain regarding the false allegations against the President that started this probe in the first place.

Steele to speak with U.S. Officials: The Clock is Ticking for Democrats

Posted on Blog by Christina Norton · June 12, 2019 5:03 PM

Christopher Steele, author of the infamous Steele dossier alleging collusion between Trump and Russia, has agreed to speak with U.S. officials about his relationship with the FBI. According to The Hill:

"Republicans have long alleged it was Steele’s dossier that improperly led to an FBI inquiry, which ultimately morphed into special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into possible coordination between the Trump and campaign and Russia during the 2016 election.

The Justice Department’s internal watchdog is investigating aspects of the Mueller probe, including whether officials abused their power when they ordered surveillance of a former campaign aide partially based on information from Steele’s dossier."

Why did Mueller wait to tell the country that no collusion occurred?

Posted on Blog by Christina Norton · June 03, 2019 5:05 PM

As of April 2019 - we now know from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government during the 2016 election.

However, there are indications that as early as 2017 special counsel prosecutors knew that evidence would not establish the Trump campaign "conspired or coordinated" with the Russian.

Democrats Are Losing at Their Own Game

Posted on Blog by Christina Norton · May 03, 2019 6:29 PM

There are several take-aways from this week’s hearing with Attorney General Bill Barr before the Senate Judiciary Committee. We now know that Democrats will stop at nothing to lie, deflect, and accuse innocent people in order to try to hurt President Trump.

Post-Mueller Report - What Will Change and What Will Stay the Same?

Posted on Blog by Lisa Dixon · March 27, 2019 8:43 PM

Now that the Mueller report has confirmed that there is no evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election, what will change and what will remain the same in the political landscape?  First, as RNLA Executive Director Michael Thielen pointed out yesterday, Democrats will continue to cast doubt on the 2016 election because they still cannot accept that Hillary Clinton lost to President Trump.  The collusion narrative was one way how they justified this inconceivable loss, and being a "sore loser" has become a feature of the modern Democratic Party establishment:
