Posted on Blog by Elizabeth Bradford El-Rassy · August 10, 2022 1:47 PM

At the end of July, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) announced the creation of a new division to oversee election issues. The AP reported:

The idea behind the creation of the Election and Government Mail Services is to have a permanent division dedicated to dealing with election matters, instead of handling issues one at a time as in the past.

Arizona County Shows the Need for Oversight of our Elections

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth Bradford El-Rassy · August 04, 2022 8:30 PM

Election after election has shown that large numbers of voters will vote in-person if given the opportunity to do so. Despite this, an Arizona county ran out of ballots in 20 precincts during Tuesday's primary election:

FOX 10 received several calls and emails on Election Day from viewers reporting a variety of problems with in-person voting, including a shortage of ballots. Some people at precinct 15 in San Tan Valley said they couldn't get a ballot to vote because the location ran out.

Brazenly Partisan PA Supreme Court Reinstates No-Excuse Mail-Voting

Posted on Blog by Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) · August 02, 2022 8:45 PM

In a brazenly partisan decision, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has upheld Act 77's no-excuse mail-voting law challenged last year by Bradford County election official Doug McLinko.

The majority of the @SupremeCtofPA has made clear that they are not “progressives judges” but just straight up Democrat politicians in robes. Pennsylvania voters will remember this in future judicial elections. @RepGrove https://t.co/qs8NBC6rRl 2/2

Printing Error Wreaks Havoc in Lancaster County, PA on Election Day

Posted on Blog by Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) · May 17, 2022 5:07 PM

Primary elections were held on Tuesday in five states: Idaho, Kentucky, North Carolina, Oregon, and Pennsylvania. In Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, a printing error wreaked havoc on the counting process for absentee ballots. Penn Live reported:

“Upon opening and scanning the first batch of ballots it became immediately apparent that a significant number of the mail ballots did not scan,” a county press release stated. “Upon further inspection of the ballots, the county identified the ballots were printed by the mail ballot vendor, NPC, with the wrong identification code. This error prevents the ballots from being scanned on the county’s central scanners.”

On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court heard much-anticipated oral arguments in McLinko v. Commonwealth, a case challenging Act 77, Pennsylvania's no-excuse absentee voting law. AP reported:

Justices did not indicate when or how they will rule, although Chief Justice Max Baer suggested that if they were to throw out the 125-page law it could remain in place through the spring primary, currently scheduled for May 17.

On Tuesday, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court is set to hear arguments over the fate of Act 77, Pennsylvania's controversial no-excuse absentee voting law. In January, the Commonwealth Court struck the law down, reasoning that Pennsylvania's General Assembly went against the state constitution when it enacted no-excuse absentee voting.

Election Admin Issues Abound in Pennsylvania

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth Bradford El-Rassy · February 15, 2022 3:15 PM

Recordings obtained from a whistleblower in Delaware County, Pennsylvania show rampant election administration problems in the suburban Philadelphia county:

To date, the videos have exposed a wide array of problems with election integrity, including on-tape admissions that the election laws were not complied with, that 80 percent of provisional ballots lacked a proper chain-of-custody, that there were missing removable drives for some of the voting machines, and that election workers “recreated” new drives to response to the Right to Know request.

Even the Liberal 9th Circuit Recognizes the Importance of Election Integrity

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth Bradford El-Rassy · December 08, 2021 4:59 PM

Earlier today, the Ninth Circuit upheld Arizona's curing deadline for mail-in ballots that are returned without the voter's signature. Courthouse News Service reports:

The Arizona Democratic Party sued the state in June 2020 claiming the deadline for missing signatures denied voters due process and violated their First and Fourteenth Amendment rights. After a federal judge ruled in favor of the Democrats, the state appealed to the Ninth Circuit and oral arguments took place in July 2021.

Amazon Pushes Back Against Union Vote Scheduled to be Conducted by Mail

Posted on Blog by Elizabeth Bradford El-Rassy · January 25, 2021 11:43 AM

The hypocrisy of the Left is on full display once again! Amazon and Jeff Bezos are trying to prevent one of its warehouses from using mail-in voting to conduct a unionization vote.

Why would @Amazon have a problem with mail-in voting?

After all, Democrats tell us there is no possible chance of fraud. https://t.co/QEQZ2Gbkfr
