Part-Time Law Clerkship (Fall and Spring Semesters)

The Republican National Lawyers Association is seeking a part-time law clerk for the fall and spring semesters to assist with a range of election law issues and research. Applicants may be located anywhere in the United States for the duration of the clerkship. This position is only open to 2L or 3L law students.

Our clerkship provides opportunities to hone your legal research and writing skills, while also allowing you to network with Republican leaders. In addition to legal work, there will be some light clerical and support work, including editing, drafting, and publishing short blog posts. The RNLA is comprised of lawyers and law students who advance professionalism; open, fair, and honest elections; career opportunities; and Republican ideals.

The RNLA clerkship is a quasi-legal clerkship focusing on political legal issues and is best for those considering a career in politics, conservative/libertarian advocacy, public policy, and election law. A stipend and reimbursement for most job-related expenses will also be provided. To apply, please email your cover letter, resume, and short writing sample to Executive Director Michael Thielen at [email protected].
