BIO
Keith A. Davis concentrates in real estate development, commercial litigation, environmental/regulatory law and all aspects of government law, from public procurement/bidding issues and redevelopment to zoning enforcement and liquor licenses.
Keith’s practice and network of relationships extend throughout New Jersey and he has handled matters in all 21 counties. His representation includes major developers of commercial, industrial, solar and residential projects; Fortune 500 companies; non-profit entities; and small businesses. He is a pragmatic and effective advocate for his clients’ interests before local planning and zoning boards and state and county government agencies, including the Pinelands Commission, Department of Environmental Protection (CAFRA and Bureau of Tidelands) and Department of Transportation.
Reflective of the firm’s growth in Cape May County, Keith frequently represents clients seeking to develop or expand single family homes and commercial uses before Planning and Zoning Boards in Stone Harbor, Avalon, West Cape May, North Wildwood, Cape May City, Ocean City and Middle Township, as well as Historic Preservation Committees.
Keith is a graduate of St. Augustine Prep in Richland, New Jersey. He graduated with honors from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia and received his law degree from Rutgers School of Law in Camden. Keith also holds a Master’s degree from Rutgers’ Bloustein School of Policy & Planning in New Brunswick where he received a fellowship from the Eagleton Institute of Politics. He clerked for New Jersey Superior Court Judge L. Anthony Gibson (retired).
Keith is a New Jersey registered lobbyist and has expertise in election and campaign finance law. He is the current chairman of the Atlantic County Republican Committee and previously served as Chairman of the New Jersey Republican Chairmen’s Association for two terms. He currently serves as legal counsel to the New Jersey Republican State Committee.
An important charity to Keith is the Alcove Center for Grieving Children and Families which offers grief support services for young children whose parent or loved one has died. Alcove serves children and adults throughout South Jersey with a variety of bereavement activities. Over $275,000 has been raised for Alcove through a golf tournament and silent auction event held annually in memory of Mary Beth Davis. Keith also sits on the organization’s Board of Directors.
Keith and his wife Jennifer reside in Linwood with their two sons and two dogs.
