As Election Day 2022 comes to a close, Florida continues to be the poster child for how impactful state election reforms can be. Within a few hours of the polls closing, winners of most races were determined with confidence. Governor Ron DeSantis and U.S. Senator Marco Rubio both won decisive victories.
Unfortunately, Maricopa County, Arizona experienced massive problems. At one point, counting machines over a quarter of the polling places were offline. RNLA Chair Harmeet Dhillon played a crucial role in managing the response on the ground.

At a press conference with @KariLake, @pnjaban shares a website where people can find a shorter line to vote: https://t.co/uHwRV7fRrI— Washington Free Beacon (@FreeBeacon) November 8, 2022

Unfortunately, a request to keep the polls open longer to give voters who experienced difficulties earlier in the day a chance to cast their vote was denied.
Hearing concludes. Court rules against the TRO request, despite the admitted problems with voting in Maricopa County, and multiple factual declarations from voters affected by bad instructions and malfunctioning equipment at over 25% of polling places in Maricopa County. https://t.co/Dl3slewbYG— Harmeet K.
