President Joe Biden’s disastrous debate performance, coupled with former President Donald Trump’s expanding lead in recent national polls and the anticipation of a post-convention bump, has many Republicans riding high. But this election is far from over. That’s why the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) needs you to be a part of the effort to deploy volunteer election attorneys to battleground states.
Attorney Jonathon Hauenschild has volunteered for the RNLA in every presidential election but one since 2006, and understands the critical work volunteers contribute to victory.
Said Hauenschild, “It’s hard work, but you really do feel like you are making a difference. By helping resolve electoral issues voters face, you are building confidence in the system.”
RNLA President and Executive Director Michael Thielen declared election volunteer deployments are the organization’s top priority heading into the election. “Elections need to be open, fair, and honest. The public rightly has concerns about the integrity of the elections where Democrats fight transparency and fail to follow clear rules. Volunteer lawyers working at the polls, in registrar’s offices, in call centers and much more can help make sure voters, not Democrat activists or lawyers, determine election results.”
Given the fluid nature of the polls, Democrats’ continuing efforts to ignore or fail to enforce the laws, and the left’s efforts to overturn current laws, we must be nimble in our operations, and ask that our volunteers be patient as we put together our state teams.
Please complete this short questionnaire to help us determine where best to place you.
In addition to those who travel this fall, many attorneys will be needed in their home states to promote open, fair, and honest elections. If you are not able to travel, please be watching for opportunities to volunteer in your home state soon.
This is a great opportunity to protect the election and build confidence in our system!
