RNLA Elects David Warrington as President

On December 7, 2018, the Board of Governors of the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) elected David Warrington as the new president of the organization. He will help to lead the over 6,000-member-strong organization in 2019.

 

Outgoing RNLA President Elliot Berke said of Mr. Warrington’s election: “The RNLA will be in great hands under David’s leadership. He is an excellent advocate and a true believer in our core principles.”

 

RNLA Executive Director Michael Thielen agreed: “The RNLA is only as strong as its leaders and its members. Under David’s leadership in 2019, we look forward to a very strong year. His strong leadership skills, commitment to Republican principles and the rule of law, expertise in election law and the First Amendment, and vision of the organization will benefit both the RNLA and the country as a whole.”

 

David Warrington of Alexandria, Virginia, is a corporate and white-collar litigator and constitutional lawyer at Kutak Rock LLP. Previously, he served as General Counsel for the Ron Paul 2012 Presidential Campaign Committee, as counsel for the 2016 Trump Campaign to the Credentials, Platform, and Rules Committees at the Republican National Convention, and in the United States Marine Corps. He has been called the “Lawyer to the Liberty Movement,” and he actively litigates cases involving political liberty based on the First, Second, and Fourth Amendments to the United States Constitution.
