RNLA Honors Stefan Passantino as the 2024 Recipient of the Chairman’s Award

(Washington, D.C.) – The Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) is pleased to announce that its eighth Robert J. Horn Chairman’s Award will be bestowed on Stefan Passantino during the 22nd National Election Law Seminar in Palm Beach, Florida on August 9-10, 2024.

The Robert J. Horn Chairman’s Award is an award presented to individuals for nationally distinguished service to the citizens of the United States of America for protecting the honesty and accuracy of elections. It is presented in honor of the late Founding Chairman, who succeeded in significantly advancing the integrity of elections throughout his professional lifetime by founding and promoting the RNLA.

RNLA Chair Marc Ellinger explained Passantino was selected because, “Stefan’s commitment to upholding the highest standards for campaign finance and election guidelines helps ensure honest and fair elections for all Americans. The country is fortunate to have Stefan and those like him fighting for voter integrity.”

Speaker Newt Gingrich and Ambassador Callista Gingrich added, “Stefan Passantino showed enormous courage and commitment to fighting for the truth when the full weight of the January 6 Committee was brought to bear against him. We have known Stefan for more than 20 years, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way he continues to stand up for the truth against extraordinary pressures. His courage, integrity, and cheerful persistence are an inspiration. It is an honor and privilege to call him our friend.”

Former Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) said, “Over a three-decade career, Stefan Passantino has become renowned as a fighter - for his clients, his country, and his values. He has taken on the deep state and defeated even their most egregious partisan attacks with courage and integrity. Few are better suited to be in the arena at this critical moment - as we stand up the lawfare that seeks to destroy and defame conservatives.”

“Stefan is an outstanding leader in the complicated arena of political campaign law,” concluded RNLA President and Executive Director Michael Thielen. “He provides critical services to candidates and organizations that want to protect the goodness of America for future generations. RNLA is lucky to have him as a member, and this honor is well-deserved!”

Stefan provides campaign finance and Political Laws compliance services to Republican campaigns and party committees, conservative political action committees, tax exempt organizations, and corporate and trade association PACs. He co-founded his law firm Elections, LLC with Trump campaign counsel Justin Clark to provide these services in 2020 after serving as President Trump’s Deputy White House Counsel.

Stefan has served as a member of the RNLA Board of Governors and currently serves as counsel to the Make America Great Again superPAC, as well as a number of Trump-aligned committees and social welfare organizations.

Stefan is a graduate of Emory Law School where he was Managing Editor of the Emory Law Journal.

Past recipients of the Chairman’s Award are Chris Marston (2023, Bilenda Harris-Ritter (2022), Justin Riemer (2021), Harvey Tettlebaum (2020), Anne Lewis (2019), Ron Hicks (2018), and Manuel Iglesias (2017).
